In October 2012 we will be publishing our very own cook book and launching it at a special event in Sydney.
Our focus will be on biscults, slices, cakes, desserts and anything sweet.
We want the cookbook to have a warm, friendly, family feel to it. We're after recipes that you loved in your childhood or have been enjoyed by your family for years or perhaps passed down from your mum or grandma.
Recipes that your average, busy, time-poor home cook could easily master using ingredients available from the supermarket. Nothing with too many complicated steps. We love short cuts! The measurements need to be precise with clear instructions that are easy to follow.
Could you please include a couple of sentences about your recipe: eg. the recipe's history, what it means to you, childhood memories, why you love it etc.
We plan to include a page of collaged photos of the recipe contributors, so a digital photo of your family would be greatly appreciated.
All profit from the books will go directly into giving safe, clean drinking water to communities in East Africa.
